Cookie Policy.

What this site stores on your device, and what it deliberately does not. There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to.

01

The short version

This site does not set advertising, tracking, or profiling cookies, and it does not show a cookie banner because it does not need your consent for anything it does.

The sections below explain exactly what is and is not stored on your device.

02

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels — work similarly and are covered by this policy.

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, non-essential cookies require your consent. Strictly necessary ones do not.

03

What this site uses

Strictly necessary — none beyond what your browser and the hosting platform require to serve the page securely. These are not used to identify you and cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Analytics — I use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure page views and loading performance without cookies and without collecting personally identifiable information. Visitors are counted using a hash that cannot be traced back to an individual and is not persisted across days.

Advertising and social media — none. There are no ad networks, no social plugins, no embedded third-party trackers, and no cross-site profiling.

04

Forms and stored data

The contact form and the publication request form submit directly to this site's own server and are delivered to me by email. Neither form stores anything in your browser, and neither sets a cookie.

Your browser may offer to autofill fields it has seen before. That is a browser feature under your control, not something this site sets.

05

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Because this site does not rely on non-essential cookies, blocking them will not affect how it works.

Most browsers also offer a 'Do Not Track' or global privacy control signal. Since no tracking takes place here, there is nothing for those signals to disable.

06

Changes and contact

If this site ever starts using cookies that require consent, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be added before those cookies are set.
